Shopping facilities
We use a mom-and-pop store in Roccaverano to shop for convenience goods. We complement this once a week with a trip to one of the markets.
The markets in the area are taking place among others on the following days:
- Monday: Roccaverano
- Tuesday: Canelli
- Wednesday: Santo Stefano Belbo, Bistagno
- Thursday: Monastero Bormida
- Friday: Acqui Terme, Cortemilia
- Saturday: Alba
For Italians, the weekly markets are like department stores. Besides inexpensive fruits and vegetables other products such as honey, fish, cheese and meat are available in high quality at a reasonable price. Sometimes you also find a nice piece of clothing.
As a supplement the supermarkets Bennet in Acqui Terme and Dimeglio at the Centro Commerciale CASTELLO in Canelli would make sense.
Of course one could also take a longer trip to the fancy stores of the fashion metropolis Milan.
