Perfect location in a beautiful area. Without straying too far, it is fun to stroll through the villages of the Langa of Asti and Cuneo, each a small discovery with its own character. Silence, nature (many animals, such as deer, dormice, nocturnal birds of prey, etc.), pleasant warmth, airy. Of course, you can eat and drink very well everywhere, starting with the Caffè della Posta (with a wonderful terrace overlooking the hills) in Olmo Gentile, just a stone's throw from the farmhouse (we have been there several times, always to our complete satisfaction). Cascina Bricco is an old building that has been recently renovated. The flat is comfortable, with a large garden and woods all around. Useful swimming pool on hot days. The owners are very friendly and discreet. It was ideal in August, away from the marasmus of the "fun" in crowded places. We were sad to have to leave.
A great view, a great pool, a great apartment for the 4 of us (2 children with us), peace, relaxation, extensive tips from the Lehmann family. Hot sun 28° up here, also 16° & thunderstorms, summer concert of cicadas, grasshoppers of all sizes, starry night skies & well-rested dormice. We’d love to come again!
The place with its Saracen tower is wonderfully situated in the hills of the touristically still “unstained” Piedmont. Walks to the other four towers, short car trips to Alba, Neive, Aqua Terme, Monastero Bormida, Canelli and swimming in the in-house pool were among our days - not to mention the breakfast and reading hours on the open loggia with views (sometimes!) on the Western Alps. The Ristoranti in Rocaverano, Perletto and the Posta in Olmo are highly recommended. The care on site (and as needed) was perfect, the communication with the owner in Germany unobtrusive pleasant. If you are looking for action, party and excitement on holiday, you will not be happy here in Olmo Gentile. We enjoyed the silence and the diverse nature and unfortunately have to go back home after a week’s rest… it was nice… and maybe we will come back.

We spent with our two dogs a very nice week in the Cascina. The high-quality facility with attention to detail we liked very much. We had a mixed weather during our stay. Such fall-like rains as here we have never experienced, although we come from Munich in the Alpine foothills of Bavaria. On the gray days we went on hikes, which led us after a few unsuccessful attempts to reach our destination. All in all it was a lovely week and the sunset view from the terrace was beautiful. Thank you for the pleasant contact. We enjoyed the week in your Cascina, in the quiet environment and could recover well. We will be back.
We (married couple early 30) spent nine nights in this beautifully renovated and well-equipped apartment. In the apartment, you can relax very well, but in the area there are many opportunities to know the Piedmont and also near Liguria. If you do not want to leave the apartment, the property with pool, terrace and balcony offers the opportunity to enjoy the great view of the mountains and to cool off in the “panoramic pool”. The restaurant in the village offers great food at fair prices and the local people are always ready to beautify your stay. So we were invited to a concert in the “Cultural Center” (small chapel of the church) by Olmo Gentile, which ended with great music in a midnight buffet. We would like to come back and recommend the apartment fully.
We spent 5 days in peace at home with stunning views and all the necessary comfort. Because I come from a big city, the small quiet village has suited us very well. Thank you for the hours we spent here.
What a surprise, not only the house, but especially the landscape is wonderful. We found the restaurants around Olmo Gentile. Excellent quality! And for us it was important that Monferrato is a quiet region. It was very quiet, but therefore interesting with medieval towers and old houses. We will recommend it to our friends.
The place near our beloved Roccaverano was very soothing. The seclusion and peace we enjoy to the fullest, even if we were traveling a lot.
We enjoyed our stay in Olmo Gentile, the smallest town in Piedmont. The information for exploring the area was great. On the first day we did the scenic tour and on the second day we went to a wine tasting. The roads were not for the faint-hearted, but we got along. The area is beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. My husband even saw a deer on the last day we were there.
You have chosen a beautiful area in Italy! We had a wonderful stay here! The whole house is wonderfully furnished down to the last detail. We will be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cascina Bricco. A really extraordinary place, the cottage restored tastefully and with great attention to detail. The people in the village very helpful and friendly, as I know it from the past.
We spent 9 days in this Piedmontese jewel, which fully met our expectations. The lovingly and stylishly furnished apartment combined modernity with tradition and has exceeded our expectations in terms of space and comfort. If you rent an apartment and reside in an estate, so it can only run out on - not least due to the excellent written information folder - an absolute “well-being holiday”, which leaves nothing to be desired. We can imagine visiting this Piedmontese “Eagle’s Nest” again and would highly recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

We spent a very pleasant time in Olmo Gentile - Cascina Bricco. The scenery is just wonderful and perfect for a short walk. Even the house itself is quiet, pretty and comfortable, with friendly attention to the visitors (documentation, cards, equipment, …). We will warmly remember Langhe - Cascina Bricco.
We had a very nice time on this property. I enjoyed the silence and the seclusion!! The old walls have something of permanence. One has often wondered what took place earlier in these walls. Nice that there are people who give these walls back a task and life so that they do not fall into oblivion.
It worked very well there, although I can not speak Italian. To the apartment: a very nice apartment… and very quiet… a wonderful landscape… I felt very comfortable there. I thank you, that I could spend the two days there.

We had two wonderful weeks in this great object. The equipment is great, everything is up to date, just outstanding. The contact with the landlord was also very nice and everything went well. If you are looking for peace and relaxation is just right.
Although the weather was not on all days from the best, we were still able to ride on four days the surrounding hills and valleys with our racing bikes. We liked the stay in your apartment. The well-functioning heating let us go outside even in cold and/or wet weather. Because with the certainty of a warm apartment, a lot more can be endured outside. In the bright bedroom we could read for hours or prepare our racing bike trips on the maps. […] We would like to thank you for the hospitality in your holiday home and remain with best regards.
Rarely have we rented such a fully equipped house, quiet area where the deer walk in the garden. The owners showed great interest by calling from Germany when we arrived and departed. Local manager very friendly. All in all, we will probably come back someday.
