” Perfect location in a beautiful area. Without straying too far, it is fun to stroll through the villages of the Langa of Asti and Cuneo, each a small discovery with its own character. Silence, nature (many animals, such as deer, dormice, nocturnal birds of prey, etc.), pleasant warmth, airy. Of course, you can eat and drink very well everywhere, starting with the Caffè della Posta (with a wonderful terrace overlooking the hills) in Olmo Gentile, just a stone’s throw from the farmhouse (we have been there several times, always to our complete satisfaction). Cascina Bricco is an old building that has been recently renovated. The flat is comfortable, with a large garden and woods all around. Useful swimming pool on hot days. The owners are very friendly and discreet. It was ideal in August, away from the marasmus of the “fun” in crowded places. We were sad to have to leave.”
